Evan Rachel Wood: Westworld’s Season 4 Newcomer

Evan Rachel Wood’s return to Westworld has been teased in a mysterious new season 4 trailer. Throughout the show’s first three seasons, Wood played the android Host Dolores Abernathy at the futuristic theme park.

The HBO sci-fi drama created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy will return for a fourth season in June 2022, with a premiere date yet to be announced. Season 3 of Westworld saw Dolores take her revolution outside of the Westworld theme park and into the year 2053’s Los Angeles after escaping Delos Inc.’s control.

Following an unsuccessful attempt to destroy the Incite company’s powerful predictive A.I. After working with Caleb (Aaron Paul) and Maeve (Thandiwe Newton), Dolores was able to carry out her mission, but at the cost of her own life when her memories were erased.

As a result of a Westworld season 4 set video taken by a fan who saw a character dressed in Dolores’ costume, it was speculated that Wood may return. Now, HBO has released a new trailer for Westworld season 4, which features Wood’s return.

Set to Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day,” the video, titled “It doesn’t look like anything to me,” offers a sneak peek at the series’ returning cast for the upcoming season. With shots of Maeve and Caleb on top of buildings,

the trailer shows Wood returning in an unidentified role, stepping out of a white car into the bustling city. Another character who appears to have been wounded is William (Ed Harris), who appears to be slumped against a wall in the trailer.

Early Years

Sara Lynn Moore and Ira David Wood III, both actors, and directors welcomed their daughter Evan Rachel Wood into the world on September 7, 1987, in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Wood was raised in the Jewish faith by her mother, who had converted to Judaism. Their father was the executive director of Theatre in the Park, a non-profit community theatre in their hometown.

Starting Career

The Best of Families: Marriage, Pride & Madness” and “Search for Grace” were Wood’s first professional roles as a child actor. The following year, she appeared in “A Father for Charlie” and “Death in Small Doses,” both of which aired on television.

Career as a Film Actor

Timothy Hutton’s “Digging to China” was Wood’s big-screen debut in 1997, when she starred alongside Kevin Bacon. With Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock, she appeared in the romantic fantasy film “Practical Magic” the following year.

“Little Secrets” was Wood’s breakout role as a teen violinist in the 2001 dramedy. She then appeared in the science-fiction film “Simone,” starring Al Pacino, in a supporting role.

In the independent drama “Thirteen,” in which she played a drug-addled adolescent, Wood made her name in 2003. She was nominated for Best Actress at the Golden Globes and the SAG Awards for her work in this role.

Personal Experiences and Social Change

In 2005, Wood had a relationship with Jamie Bell, a British actor. After that, she dated Marilyn Manson, with whom she got engaged in 2010 but broke up before they could wed. Wood rekindled her relationship with Bell in 2011 after revealing her bisexuality.

After becoming engaged in 2012, the couple had a son in 2013 and divorced in 2014. When Wood next found love, she was dating Zach Villa, with whom she got engaged in the new year of 2017.
