One of the most common things we think about when we see our favorite performers on screen is how skilled they are at what they do. We tend to overlook the fact that when they first began acting, they, too, had to put in a lot more effort than they do now.
This is the exact reaction fans are having to footage of their favorite actors’ very first audition tapes that have made their way onto the internet and are currently trending.
Take a look back at the humble beginnings of some of today’s leading men and women in the Hindi cinema business by watching their early audition tapes.
1) Rajkummar Rao
Rajkummar has shown how good he is as an actor in many movies, like Bareilly Ki Barfi and Stree. But seeing his first audition from way back when makes us feel very nostalgic.

2) Vijay Deverakonda
Vijay Deverakonda‘s audition video is a 6-minute video that shows us different versions of the South actor. It is gripping, and intense, and shows how good an actor he is.
Vijay is sincere even in his early auditions when he acts out a long, intense scene and says his lines as well as he can.
3) Disha Patani
A Bollywood actress who has been in movies like “Ek Villain Returns” and “Malang” first tried out for what seemed to be a brand endorsement.
Disha starts the video by introducing herself and showing the camera her side profiles. After that, we can see her say her lines several times as she auditioned.
