In 10 Years Jung Woo Sung Confirmed To Star In His First Drama ‘Tell Me That You Love Me’ With Shin Hyun Been!

The duo of Jung Woo Sung and Shin Hyun Been will soon be working together again. A new romance drama titled “Tell Me That You Love Me” (literal title) starring Jung Woo Sung and Shin Hyun Been was announced on September 22 by STUDIO & NEW.

Based on the 1995 Japanese romance drama of the same name that aired on TBS and won numerous awards at Japan’s Television Drama Academy Awards, including “Best Picture,” “Best Screenplay,” “Best Actor,” “Best Actress,” and “Best Newcomer,” “Tell Me That You Love Me” is a remake of the original.

Jung Woo Sung will play Cha Jin Woo, a deaf man who is at ease in his own company and who doesn’t let the prejudice of others get to him. Shin Hyun Been will play the role of Jung Mo Eun, a woman who knows her worth and isn’t afraid to go after her goals or the man she loves.

The collaboration between “Love in the Moonlight” and “The Sound of Magic” writer Kim Min Jung and “Our Beloved Summer” director Kim Yoon Jin is another reason to look forward to this drama. Almost a decade has passed since Jung Woo Sung’s last television drama, “Padam Padam,” which aired from 2011–2012.

Although Jung Woo Sung stepped in to play Bae Sung Woo’s role in “Delayed Justice” when the latter left the show near the end, this is his first proper drama comeback in a decade. Production is set to begin later this year, but when it will air is still up in the air. Listen in for further developments! If you have some time to kill while you wait, I highly recommend watching “Beasts Clawing at Straws,” starring Jung Woo Sung and Shin Hyun Been.
