Since leaving the  NFL, Baskett has worked with video game console manufacturer HBCustoms; he promotes the brand on his Instagram account. On Baskett’s Instagram feed, promotional content for HBCustoms can be seen, with the most recent post on September 5 promoting a giveaway.

The banner stated that the winner would be the first person to correctly answer the question, “Who did James Cameron want to cast as the original T-800 in Terminator instead of Arnold Schwarzenegger?”

Included in the prize package was a Lucid Sound Audio LS50X headset and a Fusion Pro 2 controller.

Philadelphia Eagles

Against the Dallas Cowboys, Baskett grabbed a ball for 112 yards, and against the Atlanta Falcons, he caught a pass for 177 yards and a touchdown. Baskett was selected as the rookie of the week for his performance in these games. The rookie completed the game with 22 receptions for 464 yards (21.1 ypc) and two touchdowns. He was voted the best player in specialist teams in 2007. (MVP). In 2008, he played 16 games and had 33 receptions for 440 yards and three touchdowns. His average per game was 13.3 yards.

Indianapolis Colts

On September 17, 2009, in response to Anthony Gonzalez’s knee injury, the Indianapolis Colts signed Baskett to a one-year contract. Baskett was unable to recover an onside kick (which hit him in the hands) at the start of the second half of Super Bowl XLIV against the New Orleans Saints on February 7, 2010, resulting in a Saints touchdown.

The final score was 31-17, with New Orleans prevailing. Baskett was released by the Colts on February 9, 2010, after being with the organisation since 2006.
