Zaira Wasim (born October 23, 2000) is a former Indian actress who performed primarily in Hindi-language productions. Award-winning actor Wasim received the National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement from the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, during a ceremony held in New Delhi in 2017.
With the character of Geeta Phogat in the 2016 biographical sports film Dangal (2016), Wasim made her film debut. The film, which grossed more than $300 million worldwide, became the highest-grossing Indian film. She then starred in the musical drama Secret Superstar (2017), which became the highest-grossing Indian film starring a woman.
