Although Manasa Varanasi was named Miss India 2020, many people agree that Manya Singh, the runner-up, deserves a lot of credit as well. Recently, Manya Singh joined the house of Bigg Boss 16 to compete for the Trophy.
Manya was born in Uttar Pradesh, India, to a family that operated an autorickshaw. And she worked tirelessly for years to achieve this success.
Manya said she went without food and sleep for a number of consecutive nights. She had to start working when she was still in her teens, so she could not go to school. “I had nothing to wear but hand-me-downs. I desperately wanted to read, but fate had other plans.
She told Miss India in December 2020, “Eventually my parents mortgaged whatever little jewels my mother had to guarantee that I paid my test costs to acquire a degree.” Her mother went through a lot of hardship to care for her.
Manya ran away from home at the age of 14. Somehow, I was able to finish school during the day, train as a dishwasher in the evenings, and work overnights at a contact center. The rickshaw cost is expensive, so I walked for hours to get where I needed to go.
She had previously stated, “I am here today at the VLCC Femina Miss India 2020 stage to raise my father, my mother, and my small brother and to show the world that anything is possible if you are committed to yourself and your aspirations.”
Seeing Manya go through what she did is incredibly motivational. Watch Bigg Boss 16 From Monday to Friday at 10 PM
