Hollywood actor Ryan Gosling witnessed a weird experience during his mother’s wedding, the kind of which he hadn’t encountered to date.
The incident occurred while he was in Rome to attend to his mother’s wedding when he observed the Italian ladies from his step father’s family to be approaching him and involving in a banter pertaining around the event’s menu, than the superstar image surrounding the 37-year-old.

The Notebook star shared the experience during an interaction with Jimmy Kimmel on the Wednesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
“There was a lot of, during the service, like these wonderful older Italian women just whispering to me about food,” said Gosling.
“So, at one point, this woman said,’ There’s a tortellini in the freezer!'”. In fact, this woman was one of several “food spies” in attendance. Then later on, almost towards the vows, another woman said, ‘There’s a smoked mozzarella in the fridge,'” he remembered.
“And then another woman went,’It’s from Naples.'”
Instead of getting agitated by the frequent interruptions, Ryan Gosling found the conversations between the ladies to be quite interesting and intriguing. He even stated the Mozzarella to be ‘like an angel crying on your tongue.’

“They came on this day where I was shooting a launch scene, so I was in the space suit and pretending to launch,” said Gosling.
“I think they think I’m an astronaut now. My oldest said the other day, she pointed to the moon and she was like, that’s where you work, right?”
First Man would hit the theatres on October 12th. The movie got a special screening at the Venice Film Festival on August 29, with positive reviews from the critics towards Ryan Gosling and fellow co-stars performances.
