Today, Amitabh Bachchan, the Shahenshah of Bollywood, turned 80, and he was showered with birthday greetings from celebrities all over the world. Among them was Tamil superstar Rajinikanth.
Rajinikanth, who is close with the Bollywood star, posted on Twitter: “The legend…A constant source of motivation for me. The one and only superstar of the illustrious Indian film community turns eighty today. To my closest and most revered Amitabh Ji: Happy Birthday! Warmest wishes and sincere affection, always.”
The southern Indian superstar Rajinikanth wasn’t the only one to claim that the legend had served as an inspiration.

Telugu actor Ram Charan, whose father is Megastar Chiranjeevi, also sent birthday greetings and added that the great was an inspiration to him.
For example, Ram Charan tweeted “Here’s wishing Bachchan Garu a very happy birthday! We appreciate your dedication to acting and goodwill as an institution. You never fail to motivate me.”
Even Nivin Pauly, a popular actor in Malayalam, was quick to tweet his good wishes to Amitabh Bachchan. Sharing a photo of the two of them, he wrote, “Happy Birthday Sir, wishing you a long life ahead and many more blockbusters ahead.”
