Season one of the web series started off with Sunny and Rocky phishing for money in the Jamtara area of Jharkhand with the help of a group of school dropouts; however, when the story of their phishing racket was revealed in a local news report, the plot of the show shifted dramatically.
Jamtara 2 is a much-anticipated crime drama because politicians are now participating in the phishing investigation. However, things take a turn for the worst when the politicians themselves get involved in the phishing business.

Plot and Storyline of Jamtara Season 2
Jamtara is a district in the Indian state of Jharkhand. It is commonly known as India’s Internet scam and phishing capital. There are numerous bank and insurance frauds in Jamtara, which we encounter on a daily basis.
Millions of people are conned each year by phony banks and insurance representatives. Jamtara, a crime drama on Netflix, is based on these real-life incidents. They’re a bunch of young lads who’ve been running an outstanding phishing operation for years.
Two cousins were pitted against each other after they had a disagreement. This leads to a tumultuous political climate since they become the two poles of opposition. The Jharkhand police, on the other hand, is on the hunt for the offenders.
Using the internet as a cautionary tale, the show illustrates the dangers of losing all you’ve worked so hard for. It concentrates on the operations and growth of this scam enterprise.
“ALSO, remind us not to provide our bank details to callers claiming to have news about the new season,” Netflix said besides a joke based on the program, which is about two guys who seek to operate a successful phishing racket. “This is not something we want to fall for again.”

The First Season of Jam Tart Has Been Reviewed.
Among the group of school dropouts in Jamtara, Jharkhand, is Sunny Mondal (Sparsh Shrivastav), his older cousin Rocky (Anshuman Pushkar), and their cohort of petty criminals. As long as Sunny, the operation’s ringleader, is in charge, they’ll be able to keep the money flowing.
When the group’s views begin to diverge, it begins to disintegrate. Further complicating matters is the discovery of their unlawful activities by local politician Brajesh Bhan (Amit Sial), who promptly steps in and demands a half-share of the loot.
Dolly Sahu (Aksha Pardasany) becomes Superintendent of Police to put an end to the racket and apprehend the perpetrators, but her probe is slowed down by corrupt officers and the police.
This Netflix series, directed by Soumendra Padhi and based on a true incident, is both engrossing and entertaining. It paints a realistic portrait of life in rural Jharkhand. The plot is well-paced, and the actors do an excellent job, however, the film’s creators omit to delve into detail on phishing.
There’s no mention of how the kids came together to con individuals or how they came up with the idea of scamming them. They instead prefer to focus on the power relations between Rocky and Brajesh and Sunny’s wife Gudiya (Monika Panwar), on the one hand.
As Sunny and Rocky, respectively, Sparsh Shrivastav and Anshumaan Pushkar both deliver strong performances. Brajesh (Amit Sial), a selfish and unscrupulous politician, is a perfect fit for Brajesh (Amit Sial).
As Gudiya, Monika Panwar stands out as the most appealing actor in the cast. It’s hard not to like her because she’s so plain and organized. The end of the show does get a little stale. As the show progresses, the script goes off the rails and becomes generic.
There is a sense of a larger force at work in the first few episodes, but that goes away and we are left with the ordinary cat and mouse chase. Overall, ‘Jamtara’ is a well-written, suspenseful story that will keep you riveted for the full season.
