Indian streaming television series Laakhon Mein Ek was created by Biswa Kalyan Rath and produced by OML Productions and is now available on Netflix.
In this series by Biswa Kalyan Rath, a young Raipur lad named Aakash, who is forced to attend an IIT coaching centre in Vishakhapatnam named Genius Infinity because of his aberrant behaviour, finds himself unable to keep up with the curriculum.
An IIT entrance test preparation programme called Genius Infinity in Visakhapatnam is sending a high school student from Raipur to the city’s Genius Infinity for the first season, which premiered on October 13th, 2017. Doctor Shreya’s quest for healthcare in Sitlapur Village was the subject of Season 2, which began on April 12, 2019.
Laakhon Mein Ek’s Season 3 Release Date
“Lakhon Mein Ek” is based on this universal sense of perplexity that we all experience. After a successful premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 13, 2017, season 2 of Lakhon Mein Ek debuted on April 12, 2019,
with six episodes in season 1 and eight in the second. Season 3’s release date has yet to be made public. The third season of Lakhon Mein Ek premiered on January 27th, 2023.

Season 1: While Aakash Gupta dreams of being a YouTube sensation, his father wants him to go to IIT and become an engineer. In Raipur, even with a grade point average of 55 per cent, he gets turned down by every college.
At the tutoring institution Genius Infinity, in Visakhapatnam, his father assigns him to section D, where pupils who scored the lowest in their 10th-grade board exams are placed. His roommates Chudail and Bakri become pals.
Season 2: Dr Shreya is conducting a cataract camp at Sitapur, a village in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Government healthcare isn’t well-liked by the locals, and neither is the staff nor are the supplies kept separate from politics.

Anything for which you may have to select Commerce instead of Science or Math etc As a child or student in India, it’s not easy for a child or student to make a life-altering decision on his or her own, thus parents often put pressure on their children to make a decision that they feel is best for them.
In a culture where a child’s intelligence is judged by the subject he/she chooses, the number he/she scores, and the number of academic certifications he/she receives, we can all identify with these arguments.
Aakash intends to pursue a career in commerce in Raipur, India. His father’s ambitions for him are quite different. IIT Coaching Institute far from Raipur is where he sends Aakash. When Aakash arrives in the new world, he discovers that he does not fit in.
Produced by OML Production and directed by Abhishek Sengupta, the show stars Vaspar Dandiwala, Biswa Kalyan Rath, and Karan Agarwal, all of whom collaborated on the show’s script.
Late in 2015 or early in 2016, Biswa began working on Laakhon Mein Ek. After two years of brainstorming, Biswa says that while he was working on the tale, he was also “doing various other things” at the same time.
The script began as a personal narrative of Biswa’s, but as time passed, it evolved into a narrative inspired by “people he met and locations he has travelled to. It was his director who wanted to “make it authentic” by not having Biswa, who is 22, play an 18-year-old when questioned about the casting process.
In his words, Abhishek Sengupta “[We] really lucked out with the boys—Aakash, Bakri, and Chudail (the three protagonists)” and “we wanted to have people who could identify with the characters.
Production designer Prashant Bidkar worked with the director of photography Aakash Agarwal on the film’s visual effects. The Executive Producer was Ruby Thakur. Supervising producers Shruti Rao and Tihany Sengupta “It’s true.
Almost immediately following the release of Season One, Biswa began working on Season Two. In order to write this narrative, filmmaker Abhishek Sengupta and writer Hussian Haidry conducted numerous talks with a variety of medical and public health authorities.
Cinematographer Aakash Agarwal worked with Snehi Shah on production design. Both Tihany Sengupta and Varsha Venkatesan were Executive Producers for the Second Season.
