Modern Love Mumbai : Is This Series Release Date Confirmed For This Year!

Modern Love is an American romantic comedy anthology streaming television series created by John Carney and based on The New York Times’ weekly column of the same name, which debuted on Amazon Prime Video on October 18, 2019. The episodes are between 29 and 35 minutes long. The sitcom was renewed for a second season in October 2019, which will premiere on August 13, 2021.

In May, ‘Modern Love Mumbai’ Will Be Released:

The first of three localized Indian versions of the immensely acclaimed worldwide series, ”Modern Love Mumbai‘,’ will launch on May 13, according to a popular streamer. Six filmmakers-Vishal Bhardwaj, Hansal Mehta, Shonali Bose, Dhruv Sehgal, Alankrita Shrivastava, and Nupur Asthana-have collaborated on the Mumbai episode of the popular US original anthology series ‘Modern Love,’ directed by John Carney. Six heartwarming stories about “discovering and embracing love in all its hues and emotions” will be featured in the new series.

‘Raat Rani,’ directed by Bose and starring Fatima Sana Shaikh, Bhupendra Jadawat, Dilip Prabhavalkar, and Mehta’s ‘Baai,’ starring Tanuja, Pratik Gandhi, and Ranveer Brar, is included in the anthology.

‘Mumbai Dragon,’ starring Yeo Yann Yann, Meiyang Chang, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Naseeruddin Shah, was directed by Bhardwaj, while ‘My Beautiful Wrinkles,’ starring Sarika, Danesh Razvi, Ahsaas Channa, and Tanvi Azmi, was directed by Shrivastava.
Masaba Gupta, Ritwik Bhowmik, Prateik Babbar, Aadar Malik, and Dolly Singh star in Sehgal’s ‘I Love Thane,’ while Chitrangada Singh and Arshad Warsi star in Asthana’s ‘Cutting Chai.’

“Modern Love Mumbai” offers a bouquet of “heart-warming, lyrical stories that explore love in its many manifestations,” according to Aparna Purohit,  Modern Love‘s Head of India Originals. All of the stories together show a unique love affair with Mumbai’s multi-cultural city. We are confident that these tales will bring joy, optimism, and sunlight into your life.

Purohit stated in a statement that “Modern Love Mumbai” “further reinforces our long-standing connection with our producers, Pritish Nandy Communications.”The anthology will feature “soul-stirring and inspirational stories that are rooted in the heart of the city of Mumbai,” as described in the famous New York Times column.

‘Modern Love: Chennai’ and ‘Modern Love: Hyderabad’ are two other local adaptations of the program.
