Presently, Shilpa Shinde may be seen on the newest season of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. The Free Press Journal conducted an exclusive interview with the actress.
Shilpa explains how she went from being a non-dancer to a dancer by saying, “It’s incredibly fun. The performers and the organizers of the dances are all far too skilled. It’s fun for me to be a part of Jhalak since it’s a novel form of reality television.
Because some of the other candidates are professional dancers, Shilpa has a hard time keeping up with them. For her, the goal is to cater to the tastes of her listeners. Though our audience just saw our performance and the song it was set to, a lot of work went into preparing it.
In this kind of collaborative effort, each and every person’s contribution is crucial. There’s always that pressure to perform at the same level as the other competitors.
However, I’ve informed my choreographer that all we need to do is match you, and we’ll both look great onstage. That makes me happy, and I believe my readers will too. It’s challenging, but I’m driven by the desire to succeed and take on new challenges.
After an absence of more than two years, Shilpa is back on the TV thanks to Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. The actress explains her time away from the TV. “Television is quite commonplace now. After the success of Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai!, it was tough for me to top myself.
Not one of the proposed shows interested me enough to accept it. As such, it needs to be something that the target demographic can get behind. That’s quite significant. Shilpa says, “I don’t want to do something only to gain money.”
The previous winner of Bigg Boss, Shilpa, is a fan of the current season. Her excitement is palpable as she raves, “I’ve seen a couple of episodes. I try not to watch it, but it’s impossible to avoid becoming addicted after seeing just one episode.
Our season had a variety of themes, and the competitors weren’t all out to get each other. Clearly, the audience was amused as well. That’s how I see this season playing out, too. Sajid Khan, Abdu Rozik, Sumbul Touqeer, and Gori Nagori all piqued my curiosity.
Sajid’s inclusion has been met with skepticism, given the director was accused by multiple women during the MeToo movement. Others on the internet shared their dismay and criticized the producers for including him in the competition.
Shilpa responded to the situation by saying, “He is a mature and experienced person. I think he entered the Bigg Boss house to test himself and learn new things. Maybe if Usko Right Karne Woh Uss Scenario Mein Rehne Aaye Ho, everything will turn out okay for him in the end, whatever the circumstances of his past may have been.
He’s talented, and he used to be a household name. I believe it’s great that he has the chance to do a show where he can maintain his integrity and grow as a person. Self-improvement is important to many people, and so is the willingness to admit when one is wrong. No need to make a big deal out of this, in my opinion. What a piece of cheese! Let’s go ahead and get right to the chase: “Jo Acchi Cheez Hai Usko Bhi Toh Dekho.”
