Indian moviegoers may expect a thrilling action flick if the teaser trailer for Bhediya, a collaboration between Dinesh Vijan and Varun Dhawan, is any indication. Several tense scenes and a seething folk tribute to the fictitious Bhediya take place in the video, which transports us to the mystical highlands of Arunachal Pradesh.

This story’s name is Bhediya!, the caption said. The filmmakers have definitely given fans a taste of what’s to come with the extraordinary shots of bats flying over a house, a man being chased in the forest by a creature, and a group of people chanting a prayer as the fire takes the form of a wolf, and finally, a small glimpse of the wolf itself, tearing through the door, leaping onto the screen as the title splashes, Bhediya.

After the success of “Stree” and “Roohi,” director and producer Dinesh Vijan is returning to the horror-comedy genre with a third episode. By way of introduction, Bhediya is Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon‘s second film together.
Previous to this, the two stars appeared together in Dilwale, directed by Rohit Shetty. The film also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, Bollywood’s most beloved on-screen couple. After the success of Badlapur, ‘Bhediya’ reteams Dinesh Vijan and Varun Dhawan.
