Bigg Boss 16 premiered on October 1. Actress-Turned-Politician Archana Gautam is one of the 16 candidates on the Salman Khan show.
Archana hails from Meerut in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, where she has found success in the fields of modeling, acting, and politics. She became a model after she was crowned Miss Uttar Pradesh in 2014. The 27-year-old beauty then represented India at Miss Cosmos World 2018 after being crowned Miss Bikini India 2018.
Archana has appeared in films like Haseena Parker and Great Grand Masti in addition to commercials and TV series. The actor has appeared in a handful of music videos, including Dynamite, Eyeliner, and Nasha Zyada.
She decided to enter politics in 2021 when she signed up with the Indian National Congress and was given a ticket to run in the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election from the Hastinapur (Assembly constituency).
