Who is Tina Datta? Journey From TV Show ‘Uttaran’ To Bigg Boss 16!

Tina Datta, who shot to fame playing Ichcha on the smash Colors series Uttaran, is competing in Bigg Boss 16 this year. Sreejita De, Gautam Vig, Shalin Bhanot, Sumbul Touqueer, and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia are just a few of the other well-known actors in the Hindi television industry that she will be joining.

Tina has finally agreed to join the cast of the show after initially declining several years ago. Earlier, she and her Uttaran costar Rashami Desai were said to be entering the Bigg Boss house together for the upcoming 13th season.

Tina, a native of Kolkata, made her acting debut alongside Aishwarya Rai in the Bengali film Choker Bali when she was just 12 years old. Later, in 2005’s Parineeta, directed by Pradeep Sarkar, she portrayed Lalita, a teen, for the first time.

Tina was well-known before, but her breakout role was as Ichcha on the TV show Uttaran. She gave a stellar performance for six years and was recognized for her efforts. After the cancellation of Uttaran, Tina tried desperately to find another major television role, but to no avail.

They eliminated her from the seventh season of the adventure reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. But the actor had no regrets about the decision to kill her off. She had previously declared, “On ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi,’ I discovered myself. This performance was my rebuttal to those who falsely assumed I was a fragile flower. Using her various social media platforms, Tina prevented her fame from fading away. Their attention was frequently drawn to her sexy Instagram posts.

On November 27, 1991, she was born into a Hindu family in what was then Calcutta (now Kolkata). She graduated from both the St. Paul’s Boarding and Day School and the Khidderpore Public School (Kolkata).

She continued her education at the University of Calcutta, where she earned an honors degree in English.

Her parents and friends affectionately referred to her as “Tinzi” when she was young, and she’d been mistaken for a model or actor ever since she was a little girl thanks to her natural beauty and talent for mimicry.

Her talent for mimicry led to offers to star in TV serials when she was only five years old.
