Himesh Reshammiya, a musician, was blown away by 21-year-old hopeful Debosmita Roy’s performance, calling her voice a gift from the Goddess Saraswati.
The man spoke thusly: “To put it simply, your performance has me in tears. Your voice is blessed by Maa Saraswati. We hope that you find success in whatever you do.”
Kolkata native Debosmita sang the sweet duet “Roz Roz Aankhon Tale” by Asha Bhosle and Amit Kumar from the film “Jeeva” (1986).
Vishal Dadlani, a singer and music composer, was pleased with her performance and said, ” “Hearing you sing today has filled me with pride. I equated your performance to inspirational music.”
Debosmita had a terrific experience because the judges were very enthusiastic about her performance.

In addition to sharing her story, she also revealed that her lifelong passion for singing and the desire to pursue a career in music have been constant themes throughout her life.
“The music is my life. My lifelong dream has been to make a living as a professional singer. Indian Idol is like a fairytale come true. Getting a standing ovation from those music titans gave me the motivation I needed to keep improving. Having the opportunity to learn from three experts in the field of music is thrilling, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me “The end, she said.
Superstar musicians Himesh Reshammiya, Neha Kakkar, and Vishal Dadlani serve as judges on the singing competition show, which is hosted by Aditya Narayan.
