Cyrus Pallonji Mistry was an Irish businessman of Indian ancestry who lived from 4 July 1968 till 4 September 2022. He presided over the Tata Group, a titan of the Indian economy, from 2012 until 2016. He was the sixth chairman of the group and the only one (aside from Nowroji Saklatwala) without a Tata last name.
He was chosen by a panel of judges to be the Tata Group’s leadership in the middle of 2012, and he took over in December of the same year. In October 2016, the board of Tata Sons, the parent company of the Tata Group, removed Mistry from his role as chairman.

Cyrus Mistry started working for the father-founded, family-run Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. construction company in 1991. He was also chosen as the company’s chairman. Cyrus Mistry was born into a Parsi family in Bombay as the younger child of Indian construction entrepreneur Pallonji Mistry and his wife Patsy Perin Dubash (now Mumbai). He’s worth $1 billion. Cyrus Mistry Death
Cyrus Mistry, a former chairman of the Tata Group, passed away on Sunday at the age of 54 in an automobile accident in Maharashtra’s Palghar district, which is close to Mumbai. According to authorities, Cyrus Mistry was traveling from Ahmedabad to Mumbai in a Mercedes when he struck a barrier on a bridge over the Surya river in the late afternoon.
The car had four occupants, but two of them, including Cyrus Mistry, died as a result of their wounds in the crash, which also seriously damaged the car’s structure. The injured were taken to a hospital in Kasa. The Kasa Rural Hospital has received Mistry’s body for a postmortem.
