In response to the government’s handling of the murder of their loved one, the family of a 19-Year-Old Receptionist in Uttarakhand has refused to cremate the body. In a show of protest, the woman’s family members have shut off a roadway and are calling for the release of the autopsy results. The family claimed the government was destroying evidence by demolishing the property.

After the arrest of the son of a BJP leader for the suspected murder of a 19-year-old in the Pauri district of Uttarakhand, the opposition launched an attack on Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and his government. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has organized a protest at the BJP and Congress offices in Delhi, where they will be demanding an apology from Prime Minister Modi to the nation.

After BJP leader Vinod Arya’s son Pulkit Arya was arrested in the murder case of a lady receptionist at a resort in Uttarakhand, Congress launched an onslaught against the BJP. The victim worked as a receptionist at a hotel in Pauri, Uttarakhand, owned by Pulkit Arya.

The opposition party has called the BJP’s expulsion of Vinod Arya and his son as “selective action,” and has demanded that the BJP oust all of its legislators who have been charged with crimes against women.

In connection with the murder of the 19-year-old receptionist, the resort’s manager and assistant manager were also detained on Friday and placed in judicial detention for two weeks. Supriya Shrinate, a spokesman for the Congress party, made these claims at a news conference held at the AICC headquarters: “Whenever an episode of sexual exploitation or rape of a woman comes to the forefront, the name of a BJP leader pops up.”

Meanwhile, AAP women leaders have condemned the BJP for the heinous murder and criticized its governments at the Centre and across the country for being stocked with parliamentarians who have significant criminal records.

Sarita Singh, leader of the AAP Mahila Morcha, claimed that the BJP’s hypocrisy had been exposed. They use the phrase “Beti Padhao Beti Bachao,” but we need to protect our daughters from the BJP.
