LG just came out with the Gram SuperSlim laptop, which the company says is the smallest one it has ever made.
The SuperSlim was first shown at CES earlier this year. At that time, it was called the Ultraslim. The word “slim” is in both forms of the name for a reason.
This laptop is only.43 inches thick and weighs just a little bit more than two pounds. To give you an idea of how thin and light the MacBook Air is, it is.44 inches thick and weighs 2.7 pounds.
The new LG laptop is small, but the specs look big and powerful. It comes with an Intel Evo 13th Gen processor and an Intel Iris Xe GPU.
You can get up to 32GB of RAM, and you can get up to 2TB of solid-state storage. This computer also has a sharp, 15.6-inch OLED screen, which is a bit unusual for a laptop. LG says that this screen has anti-glare technology, a 100 percent DCI-P33 color range, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black integration.
The company also likes to talk about how durable the SuperSlim is, pointing out that it passed seven tests to make sure that it is as durable as a military-grade product.
When it comes to ultraportable computers, more durability is never a bad thing. A small power adapter, three USB-C ports, and a full HD webcam with face recognition software and built-in mics are also included.
For $1,700, you can buy the SuperSlim with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. For $2,000, you can get 32GB of RAM and a 2TB SSD. LG is giving away a Gram +view portable monitor with every purchase until May 14. This is a way to get people to buy from them.
