The Beverly Hills property formerly owned by Kate Upton and Justin Verlander now belongs to Timothée Chalamet. He paid $11,000,000 for the home.
There’s a mansion here that’s more than 5,500 square feet in size, and the entire property is situated on 1.5 acres. Its original construction date was 1976, but it has undergone extensive remodelling to make it feel more up-to-date.
The Benedict Canyon location of this property, hidden behind a gated neighbourhood and surrounded by thick vegetation, ensures complete seclusion.
There is a separate entrance to the maid’s quarters and a bonus room in the house. The master bedroom has a fireplace and his and hers closets, and the remodelled kitchen has a wet bar. There are a number of outdoor seating areas, a tennis court, and a pool with a Jacuzzi.
A short time at the residence by Justin and Kate led to its eventual sale. Since they spent $5.3 million on it in 2016, their profit from the recent real estate sale is $12 million.
The couple had hoped to obtain more money for their house, though. They had set a price of $11.7 million but eventually settled for Timothée’s bid of $10.5 million.
Famous people like musician Kenny G, tennis star Pete Sampras, film producer Jon Peters, actress Kate Jackson, and director/producer William Asher have all called this house home at some point in their lives.
Several famous people, such as Vin Diesel, John Mayer, Cameron Diaz, and Eva Longoria, all live within a short distance.
Reportedly moving to Florida, where Justin and Kate have purchased a waterfront mansion in Palm Beach County for $6 million. The house has almost 4,600 square feet of living area, 4 bedrooms, and 5.5 bathrooms, and it’s situated on 1.1 acres of property.
It’s possible, though, that this place won’t be permanent. The couple invested $3 million in 2-acre oceanfront property in Jupiter, Florida (just a few miles from their existing house in Florida) in the year 2020.
According to rumours, Justin and Kate Upton are currently working on a custom house on the property.
Despite Timothée’s recent purchase of a mansion in Beverly Hills, the actor plans to continue spending time both in Los Angeles and in the Manhattan apartment he now leases.
