BJP’s ‘SAMPARK FOR SAMARTHAN’ Campaign: All Eyes on 2019 Elections!

BJP President Amit Shah initiated the ‘Sampark for Samarthan’ (Contact for Support) campaign on 29th May, 18, as one of his key strategies ahead of the 2019 elections.

OBJECTIVE : The campaign seeks to ensure strong relations with the political allies of the BJP in particular, and with the public at large. It aims at creating greater awareness of the achievements of the Narendra Modi government.

ACTION PLAN:  The programme constitutes the party President, Shah, personally meeting at least 50 eminent personalities (political and apolitical) around the country and discussing with them, the achievements of the government.

He will be followed by nearly 4,000 senior party members, who shall then bear forward this personal contact campaign, and meet several other eminent people, so as to disseminate a positive picture of the government, around the country.

Amit Shah, under the ‘Sampark for Samarthan’ banner, is holding strategically crucial meetings with State leaders like Uddhav Thackeray of the Shiv Sena (Maharashtra), Nitish Kumar of the JD(U) (in Bihar), Prakash Singh Badal of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Punjab). Sources reveal that Shah will also meet other allies like Mehbooba Mufti of the PDP (Jammu and Kashmir).

The Prime Minister, through the NaMo App, interacted with the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala Yojana (providing LPG connections to women from Below Poverty Line).

After the defeat tasted in the Karnataka Assembly elections and the by-elections held in Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and a few other states, lately, the BJP leadership appears in no mood to leave any stone unturned.

The Congress party, though having had better fate recently, is aware of the fact that the Karnataka win was not, in fact, a majority victory and only circumstantial. Thus, the Congress leadership also seems to be very vigilant and active, as is evident from its drive of appointing ‘Jan Mitras’ in each of the odd-polling booths in Gujarat.

The action has begun, and will now stop only after the 2019 Lok Sabhha elections. Observe well, and choose wisely!
