OnePlus Mobiles enters the list of top 5 premium phones.
Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus mobiles has almost multiplied its production share in the premium smartphone category. The segment contains phones above $400, or roughly Rs. 26,000 in India, capturing 28 percent market share. OnePlus mobiles captured 12 percent share of the premium smartphone shipments in India during the first quarter. This share has more than doubled to 28 percent in just two quarters.

“In India, it (OnePlus mobiles) surpassed Apple and Samsung to become the number one premium smartphone OEM during the quarter with a strong 40 per cent market share. It was also amongst the top five premium smartphone OEMs in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden and the UK on account of strong initial sales of OnePlus 6,” the market research firm said in a statement.
The OnePlus Mobiles Family
The recent launch pf the OnePlus and OnePlus 6T is an addition to the OnePlus mobiles family. The badge of top selling product from the OnePlus family still lies with the OnePlus 5 with a share of 24.75 %.

The list of the top 5 premium phones saw the new entry of OnePlus. The list already features Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo and Huawei. Combined topper of the list is Apple and Oppo leading with 22% shares. The new entrant OnePlus has claimed a great hold with its products like OnePLus 5 and OnePlus 3T.
