Snowdrop Episode 8/9 Released Explained

Kim Mi-Soo Passed Away at The Age of 29

The actress Kim Mi-soo passed away suddenly on January 5th, 2019, at the age of 29. This was confirmed in a statement released by her management company, Landscape Entertainment. Mi-soo played Yeo Jung-min, a fourth-year History student who shared a room with Jisoo‘s character, Eun Young-Ro, in the film Snowdrop.

A notification states, “Kim abruptly departed us on January 5, the family members are drowning in their anguish at the suddenness of their loss,” as reported by Daily Joongang. We ask that you respect the privacy of the family by not speculating or spreading rumors. The official cause of death is unknown at this time. Yumi’s Cells, Hellbound, The School Nurse Files, and The Cursed: Dead Man’s Prey all featured work from Mi-soo.

JTBC Responds to The Criticism of Snowdrop

As many as 300,000 people have signed a petition calling for the annulment of the Snowdrop, which has been at the center of a controversy. The JTBC TV Network, however, has recently reversed its stance in response to the criticism, saying, “JTBC calls for the value of independence and freedom in creation as well as content and planning,

we also adequately respect the rights of content viewers and how they criticize and receive the work.” In the statement, which Koreaboo will translate, the producers say, “there have been untruths and false criticisms regarding the content of the drama, and they have been persistent and repeated.”
