You Season 4: Release Date

The filming of Season 4 reportedly began in November of 2021 and will be winding up soon. The new YOU season premiering in time for Halloween is highly unlikely, despite our hopes to the contrary. There’s a good chance that Season 4 won’t premiere until 2023.

You Season 4: Storyline

The third season finale of You was highly emotional. Joe murdered his wife Love (Victoria Pedretti), left their infant with another family, faked his own death, cooked his own toe into a pie to blame Love for his own death, and then burned down their suburban California home.

Joe, now known as “Nick,” had recently landed in Paris, where he planned to find Marianne, a native of that city. In season 4 of You, London will serve as the primary location, with Paris serving as a secondary setting. Though we don’t know much about the season’s plot as of yet, we do know that Joe has more than enough demons from his past to keep him on the edge of his seat.

You season 3 Recap

Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) is a sociopath who, throughout the course of You, becomes obsessed with two different young women: first, aspiring writer Beck (Elizabeth Lail), and then, aspiring chef Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti).

The second season ended on a surprising note, with Love being revealed as the killer of both Delilah (Carmela Zumbado) and Candace (Ambyr Childers). Joe seems to have finally met his equal. The second season concluded with Love’s announcement that she was expecting Joe’s child.

At the start of the third season, Joe and Love (and infant Henry) are living in the suburbs and trying to form a happy family unit, however, it’s highly unlikely that either of them will be able to hide their psychopathic tendencies for very long.
