He has been one of the most under rated Indian batsmen. Ishank plays for Jharkhand at usually No. 3 spot. His Ranji performance in the 2016-17 season garnered praise from all. He scored 890 runs and emerged as the 7th highest run getter.
His performances in the Syed Mushaq Ali Trophy 2018 allowed him to be bought at 20 lakhs from KKR. He had a good run in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy this year with 213 runs at an average of 106.5 and a strike raete of 167.71 !

The rising star of Indian cricket rose to limelight by his performance in the U-19 world cup. He emerged as the leading run scorer with 418 runs at an average of 104.5 . His match winning contributions in the U-19 world cup , allowed to franchise owners to put faith in his perfomances.
He ended up getting bought for 1.8 cr with KKR for this season. In case , Lynn doesn’r return due to injuries , Shubhman can be a good option for KKR in the first 10 overs. His talent ,at such a young age hasn’t gone unnoticed by the cricketing world.

Uthappa has always been a pivotal player for KKR. As an opener for KKR , Uthappa has found some outstanding success in the T20 tournament. He will be expected to open up the innings this season as well.
The experience of IPL that he brings in ,is something the squad will find useful. He can go in for singles and doubles in order to build up the innings , followed by sudden change in gears , with bashing of the bowlers in no time.
Uthappa has always been the top contenders for orange cap in the recent seasons of IPL. As he has played so much of domestic cricket and IPL , he seems to be a nice fit for the opener slot.

One of the most dangerous T20 batsmen in the world, Chris Lynn is probably someone who can win you matches single handedly. His hard hitting ability in Big Bash League might have got the attention of franchise owners .He can , very easily , smack the ball over the fence , regardless of the bowler.
He had a terrific season with Brisbane Heats in Big Bash League 2017-18. He scored 148 runs at an average of 37 at a massive strike rate of 162.64.
When he’s on his attacking mode, be assured , you are on for an entertainment. Despite his talents and abilities, Lynn has been subject of constant injuries which has hampered his career.
If he is found fit to play, then he can open the innings for KKR.
