It is highly surprising to see Joe Root being unsold at the IPL auctions . England’s test captain, Joe Root, is one of those members of Fab-4 of today’s era. He is widely hailed as one of the greats of the game . Joe Root’s consistency in all the 3 formats of the game has is worth applauding.
His batting style, temperament and technique have been the talk of the cricketing world since his debut. Root has scored more than 10,000 international runs till date . Root has been the saviour of England team in many occasions.
Despite enjoying success at the international arena at such a young age, Root is finding it difficult to make his mark in the IPL. He has never been a part of any franchise before. If you talk about the most destructive and aggressive T20 players of the game ,then David Warner’s name might be either 1st or 2nd on that list. He is one of those few batsmen , whom the bowlers fear bowling to. It was under his captaincy , that SRH won their title in 2016.
He has also been one of the leading contenders for the orange cap. But all that hardly matters now. No matter how sound batsman he might be , his actions in the recent scandal managed to spoil the Cricket Australia’s name in the cricketing world.
The bad boy of Australian cricket has always been a victim of controversies surrounding him. But somehow he had managed to escape from those. Be it his infamous punch to Joe Root during the champions trophy , his twitter battles with fellow cricket players or his verbal feud with De Kock in the ongoing test series , he has always been controversy’s favourite child in cricket.
David Warner is someone whom the entire cricket fraternity knows as the mastermind behind the sandpaper gate scandal. While Smith and Warner have been banned for 12 months , Cameron Bancroft has been given a ban of 9 months.
Warner and his family had to incur the wrath of Australians and cricket fraternity over the social media. Warner will never get a chance to captain the Australian side in future, in any format of the game. Who knows if he might even get a chance to get back to the national side after the end of his ban.

Smith is the best in the world at present when it comes to longer formats of the game. His stats speak of his volume as a player in such a short span of time. His consistent performances at the test arena, in terms of average , ratings, runs , centuries led to his comparisons with the legend Sir Don Bradman .
Cricket is an unpredictable game. One mistake of your’s , and the people ,who at one moment hail you as a legend ,the very next moment call you a cheat.
He was one of the most respected cricketers in of the world but his involvement in the sandpaper gate incident, completely ruined his image. Smith accepted that the ball tampering was being conducted under his knowledge.
