Sunrisers Hyderabad has been on a losing spree for some matches and their loss against Chennai Super Kings in the Qualifier-1 made matters worse for them. Though Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to stay at the top even after the successive defeats, it is high time that they work out some strategies that may ensure their victory against KKR in the Qualifier-2 match to be held at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
The Hyderabad based franchise might have given CSK some rough time in their previous encounter in Qualifier-1, but still, it wasn’t enough to completely curb down the opposition side. CSK emerged victorious in a nail-biting contest with 5 balls to spare, courtesy Shardul Thakur and Faf Du Plessis.
Kolkata Knight Riders will certainly look forward to another victory in their home conditions. The inclusion of Dinesh Karthik and his appointment as the skipper seems to be the best decision opted by the franchise this season. They have everything going under the control at the moment and will look to make it to the finals by hook or by crook for the 3rd time in IPL history.
Sunrisers Hyderabad, on the other hand, needs to seriously assess their flaws and must work on it if they want to end their losing spree against KKR. Possessing the strongest bowling unit of IPL, SRH will definitely leave no stone unturned in decimating the KKR to low totals.
Once they get that box checked, the rest will be onto the batting department, led by the skipper Williamson himself.
let’s look at the predicted XI from Sunrisers Hyderabad who will try to change the fortune in the match against KKR
He hasn’t been the best choice by SRH so far in this IPL season. His dismal performances in the past few games saw him losing his spot to Carlos Braithwaite who took the mantle of scoring crucial runs for SRH. He might still be given a chance to open up the innings strictly on the account of his ability to get teams to flyer start in powerplay overs.

Shikhar Dhawan :
He was expected to be the linchpin for SRH in their game against CSK but turned out to be a flop show as he got out on the very first ball of the innings. He would now have to go back into his match-winner mode like he always has been since his arrival in SRH. His aggressive style of play would be something that SRH will bank in the power play overs.
Kane Williamson :
Williamson has been terrific and one gem of a player in this season. He has been the lone warrior for SRH in these games and will look for a support from the top order as well as from the middle order batsmen in getting the side to a good total. He is the joint that holds the entire SRH batting lineup and his dismissal might put the SRH under pressure.

Rashid Khan :
His bowling has single-handedly won games for SRH on countless occasions since his arrival into the squad in 2017. He has been, by far, the biggest match winner for the franchise with the ability to spin the game away from the batsmen when needed.
Bhuvaneshwar Kumar :
The IPL legend has been little inconsistent with the ball lately and will be expected to level up his game before they take on the KKR in Qualifier-2. His experience as a bankable death over specialist especially in the T20 overs will be put to test in the upcoming match.
Sandeep Sharma :
He came in as a replacement for the injured Bhuvaneshwar and won the hearts of the people with his economic spells. He will be bowling in the powerplay overs and a breakthrough is all that SRH would expect from him. He will be expected to tear apart the KKR unit and keep the runs under check especially in the death overs.
