How To Delete Your Google Account? Step to Step Guide

Do you plan to quit Google? No longer need Google’s services? Even if Google’s features are useful, that might not be enough to keep you using them. You may have gone on to a different service or just no longer want your account.

No matter what your reason is, we’ll show you how to delete your Google account.

What Happens When You Delete Your Google Account?

It’s important to know what it means to delete your Google account before you do it. If you delete your account, you won’t be able to get to any of the emails, files, photos, or schedules that are connected to it.

You won’t be able to use apps like Gmail, Google Drive, or Google Play. You’ll also lose access to services and content you bought with the account on YouTube and Google Play. You’ll also lose any tabs you had saved in Chrome for other browsers.

Deleting vs. Removing Your Google Account

When you delete your Google account, it’s gone for good, like it never existed. You can remove your Google account from your web browser if you just want to take a break or use Chrome without being signed in. You can get rid of your account on a mobile device by deleting the apps that go with it.

Users can also get rid of certain Google services without getting rid of their whole account. So, if you’re having trouble with YouTube or Gmail but still want to use other services, this may be a better option.
