is cdkeys legit

Is Cdkeys.Com Safe to Use?

In this review, I’ll look at how the game key reseller does business and find out if cdkeys is real or not. It turns out that this question is harder to answer than I thought at first.

The Legality agrees with other sites that CD Keys are real. I’ve used it a few times without any problems, and if you look at other boards and review sites, you’ll see that the vast majority of people have also used it without any problems. Read on to find out how CD keys came to be and what makes them real.

What Is CDkeys? is an online store where game keys and gift cards can be bought. Omnyex E-Commerce, which is based in Dubai and sells digital goods in bulk, owns it.

As their name suggests, they make most of their money from selling game CD keys. But they also buy and sell different gift cards and top-ups. Many websites that compete with, such as Kinguin and G2A, also sell software keys like Windows keys and Antivirus keys.

But CDkeys still focuses almost completely on what they do best, which is video game CD keys. They don’t sell anything like in-game money, fake skins, Windows keys, or anything else like that. CDkeys knows what it is good at, and it sticks to that.

There could be a lot of reasons why CDkeys doesn’t want to get into the business of selling program keys. I would say that high competition is the biggest reason. There are already a lot of suspiciously low-priced deals in the business of reselling Windows keys.

Most of the time because fake and illegal keys were bought with credit cards or stolen. Let’s be honest: CDkeys’ plan to resell locally probably wouldn’t work in such a market. So, they chose to stick with what they knew and keep selling game keys. And I think it’s for the best.

If you do decide to buy a Windows key from a third party internet, you should be careful. I won’t name any websites in this piece that have Windows keys, but there are a lot of them.

I don’t trust any of them enough to give them a real suggestion. Also, buying third-party keys is against the terms of service for Windows. As a law magazine, it would go against our values to promote something that is against the law.

But for now, let’s talk about the subject at hand: what is cdkeys and how did it start?

The History Of CDkeys

Cdkeys Homepage in 2013

Since the early 2000s, the name has changed hands more than once. But the site didn’t really look like it does now until 2013. The serial number trading business seems to be on the verge of a breakthrough in 2013.

I say this because it was also the same year that G2A and Kinguin, two other big players, really started to take off.

It’s hard to say exactly why 2013 turned out to be so important. But it’s possible that the growing popularity of the Steam platform at the beginning of the 2010s had something to do with it.

The Steam platform was already turning the video game business on its head at the time.

Physical copies of video games were no longer the standard. Instead, more and more customers were choosing to buy their games online. This meant that CD Keys would gain from this change in the way people buy things.

Having proven that they were a reliable site for reselling game keys, they had done everything they needed to do to become a major player in the industry.

Within a year of starting up, the website already had twice as many goods as it did before. By the summer of 2014, they were sharing not only PC, PSN, and Xbox Live platforms, but also iTunes gift cards, Facebook gift cards, and, of course, Steam gift cards.

Since then, they have been adding new products to their line slowly but surely. But’s main goal is, and likely always will be, the same. This is, of course, all about selling game keys.

How Does CDkeys Work?

  1. Create an account on the platform
  2. Choose the product of your choice and add it to your shopping cart
  3. Pay for your product
  4. Complete the phone verification
  5. If everything was correct, then the key will arrive in your e-mail instantly
  6. Enter the game key and install your game

Except for installing the game, the whole process is fully automatic and takes about 5 minutes to finish. At no point during the buying process is it necessary to talk to customer service.

Overall, I am very happy with how CD Keys works as a whole. It’s easy to understand and use, and it works well. But the phone proof is the only thing that seems strange to me. I know that you have to verify a buy to keep your identity from being stolen. But why do you have to give after you’ve already paid for your product?

Even though it might seem like nitpicking, I think everyone should always check important details before the payment process. If you don’t do this, and there are problems with verification, you will have paid for the product but not have gotten it.

Even if customer service is quick and good most of the time, none of us would want to be in that position.

At least the phone proof doesn’t take long, which is good. The automated method sends a verification code to your phone. Once you type that code into, you’re all set.

At the end, you’ll get an email that looks something like this:

When you click “download,” you will see the scanned version of your key. You can put the key into Steam or another app, and that’s it. The whole thing is very easy, just like other cdkey websites, as long as nothing goes wrong.

Where Do The Keys Come From?

When you sign up for a CDkeys account and buy a key, you are buying from the shop, not from another user. This is a very important fact, it turns out.

This is because on markets like G2A and Kinguin, you buy keys from individual sellers instead of a company. In the second case, you always run the risk of buying a game key from another user that was gotten through very illegal means.

Credit card fraud is a serious crime, and sites like G2A and Kinguin are often used to help people commit theft. Even if they don’t do anything wrong themselves, it’s hard to say that they are legal.

Every time you buy a game key from a site like G2A or Kinguin, you could be directly or indirectly helping to fund illegal behavior.

Even if you buy your keys from, you will never really know where they came from. Most people think it’s safe to buy a game key from a business instead of a person.

But even in this situation, you are putting your faith in the company. You are putting your faith in them that the key was gotten in a legal way.

In fact, though, it’s always possible that a key that was stolen ended up in the cdkeys database in some way. This risk comes with all third-party key dealers, which is a shame.

Even though CDkeys might be the most legitimate key dealer, there is always a risk. But it should be said that the chance of having your key taken away is much smaller than on sites like G2A and Kinguin, which are not real.

Why Is CDkeys So Cheap?

According to the site, they are able to offer low prices because they have been in business for thirty years and have a large network of providers. They say that they buy from all over the world and that this is how they can offer the lowest prices.

Now, all of this may be true and good, but what does it really mean?

In fact, this means that buys a lot of cheap video games from countries in the third world. Then, they charge more for the same keys when they sell them to people in first-world countries.

Before you get out your torches, let me give you a few things to think about.

Regional Reselling – Is It Legit?

Video game makers should change the prices of their games for each country. People in third-world countries wouldn’t be able to spend all of their money on a $60 copy of Call of Duty.

They might be willing to spend $30, though. Once a video game company has finished the time-consuming and expensive process of making a game, it is in their best interest to sell as many copies of the game as possible.

Even if that means selling their goods at very low prices in some parts of the world.

After all, it doesn’t cost much for a video game business to put their game on a disk and send it to stores. Obviously, a $60 profit is better than a $30 profit, but they can’t lose either of them.

When clients are involved, every penny counts in the business world. In fact, for public companies, making the most money is not only the right thing to do, it’s also the rule.

So, it shouldn’t be a surprise that big companies have used the same approach of changing prices for hundreds of years.
