The plagiarism first came into notice by Mohit Suri, Director of the movie “Aashiqui 2”. He took this issue to the twitter. Later the music composer, Mithoon claimed that T-Series was planning to take some legal action. The YouTube also took down the song post the ‘lifting’ claim.

The controversy however, took a ferocious Twitter feud between T-Pain and some Indian Twitter users. The rapper however, denied his accountability for the move. In a baffling tweet, he called the people “brown twitter.”

The Indian film industry, especially Bollywood, has often found themselves in a spot for plagiarising world music. However, it is interesting to notice that this is the second time that T-Series has been drawn into an international social media battle.
