The CBI on Wednesday named Uttar Pradesh BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar as accused in its charge sheet recorded in the Unnao gangrape case. In April, a 17-year-old young lady had claimed that she was assaulted by the Bangermau MLA at his living arrangement when she had gone to meet him with a relative looking for an occupation a year ago.
Sengar, who has stayed resistant, is held up in Sitapur region imprison alongside Shashi Singh, the lady who purportedly took the casualty to the BJP MLA upon the arrival of the wrongdoing.
The episode had become known in April after the lady attempted to confer suicide outside Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s living arrangement, claiming police inaction despite the fact that she had moved toward them a while prior.
