Shayne Murphy: I didn’t. My dad is very encouraging and trusting of the choices I make. I didn’t find out I was going to be on the show until maybe two days before we were supposed to start shooting. I hadn’t told him about it before then. I’m sure he was a little shocked, but he’s very helpful.
